Es handelt sich um ein Kunst- und Kulturfestival: das heißt, es gibt eine bunte Kunstausstellung, Performances, Filmvorführungen, Workshops, Vorträge, Kinderbetreuung, einige musikalische Live Acts und noch ganz viel mehr.
Das Festival wird der Kulturszene mehr Queerness einhauchen! Platz schaffen für Körper, Glitches, Fremdes und Vertrautes!

On August 1st-4th, the Cyborx Festival will take place in the Shedhalle Tübingen! There will be an art exhibit with a colorful collection of art, performances, movie screenings, workshops and talks, childcare and lots more!
We want to sow more queer seeds in culture's landscape, create a space for bodies, glitches, the alien and the intimate!

Spekulatives Schreiben: Cyborgs als historische Intervention im Mythos von Drexciya | Vortrag | Maya Martin | Sprache deutsch/german
Über
Ausgehend vom Framework des Afrofuturismus besprechen wir in diesem Workshop die Figur des Cyborgs anhand von Drexciya – einem modernen Mythos, in dem die ungeborenen Kinder von versklavten Afrikaner_innen, die während der Überfahrt vom afrikanischen Kontinent nach Amerika über Bord geworfen wurden, nicht sterben, sondern so mutieren, dass sie Unterwasser überleben können.
Gemeinsam besprechen wir:
- den Cyborg als Figur des Widerstands
- spekulative Erzählungen aus Schwarzen Widerstandstraditionen
- und entwickeln eigene Cyborg-Mythen
Bring gerne schon eine Erinnerung oder Geschichte mit, die du gerne umschreiben würdest.
based on the framework of Afrofuturism we discuss the cyborg figure based on Drexciya - a modern myth in which unborn children of enslaved Africans that get thrown overboard on the passage from the African continent to America don't die but instead mutate to survive under water.
together we will talk about:
- the cyborg as a figure of resistance
- speculative narratives of Black resistance traditions
- and develop our own cyborg myths
