About
Prostheses, wheelchairs, medication, stimming toys, and much more - the bodies of disabled people are often intimately interwoven with various technologies. Many disabled researchers have an ambivalent relationship with the cyborg figure and point out that health technologies cannot be separated from material and economic lived realities. In this workshop, we will speculate together on how we might re-weave the threads in the cyborg myth. No prior knowledge is required to participate in the workshop. The workshop will be held in German.
